Welcome to the official site of the Fox Point Fintastics Swim Team! The team is open to all Fox Point residents aged 18 and under and to non-residents if space allows. If you are a non-resident interested in our team, please follow the instructions outlined in the non-resident tab above.

Our meet schedule for summer 2024 is posted under 'Meets and Events.' Parents- please note that in order for your child's registration to be complete, you must sign up for 5 jobs for the season. Swimmers cannot begin practicing until their parents have committed to their jobs for the season. Please read the information about jobs on the site for further details.

We are a summer swim team that is part of the Rappahannock Swim League. Residents of the Fox Point community are welcome to join our team. There is limited space available for non-residents who qualify.

We depend on parent volunteers to run our meets. After you register your child, you need to view our meet schedule and commit to the 5 jobs that you will complete this summer. Each job is for one-half of each meet. PLEASE consider training for Stroke and Turn Judge, Referee, Head Timer, Clerk of Course, Starter, or Data Coordinator. Please read the information about volunteer jobs listed on this site so you can decide how you will use your gifts to support our team!

At this time, we are also looking for team sponsors to help defray our costs. If you are interested in sponsoring our team and receiving advertising benefits for your business, please see the 'Sponsors' tab for more information.

FINTASTICS 2024 SOCIAL EVENTS!!!

Field Day: Thursday, May 30^th from 4-6 pm (rain date Monday, June 3rd)

Come out to the fields by the clubhouse for an afternoon of fun with your teammates and coaches enjoying some silly games and popsicles. Fun for all ages and a great, no pressure way to get to know others!

Ice Cream Social: Tuesday, June 4^th from 4-5:30 pm

Come to the pool for some more time with teammates and coaches, as well as other parents and board members to get your questions answered before our first meet the following evening. Also, coaches will be giving swimmers their events during this time.

Pep Rally: Wednesday, June 5^th during normal practice times. (rain date 6/6)

Come and get excited for our first meet of the season sharing a few treats after practice! TBD what those are but it’s Coach Olivia’s birthday so it’s going to be something yummy! Also, for those unable to attend on the 4^th, coaches and board members will be available to answer questions and give out swimmers’ events.

Banner Painting: Thursday, June 6^th during fun practice. (rain date 6/7).

Our annual tradition of getting everyone’s handprints on our spirit banner hung proudly during our meets!

Team Picture: Thursday, June 13^th during fun practice. (rain date TBD)

Come with your bright, smiling faces for our team pictures! Details TBD

Mid-season Relaxation Poolside: Sunday, June 23 from 3 pm -? (rain date 6/30)

No planned agenda. Just a late afternoon/evening time to gather for some fun and relaxation. Pack your picnic dinner or order delivery. Stay until close. Any fun ideas, let us know and we’ll add it to the agenda!

Swim-a-thon/Team Breakfast: Wednesday, July 17^th beginning at 8 am. (rain date 7/18)

Our annual morning of music, food, fun, and lots of laps! This is a big fundraiser for our team and all team members are encouraged to participate. There is no pressure to fundraise, but we appreciate the generosity of so many of our swim families!

End of season Party: Sunday, July 21^st from 5 pm- 9 pm.

Join us at the clubhouse as we gather for our season wrap-up and awards. Details will be announced as we get closer.

Other events pending dates include: RSL day at Fred Nats, and perhaps a team movie or bowling or skating day. If you have any ideas or activities you’d like to see, please let us know!
